CRIMPING ACCESSORIES FOR METAL HOODS
Process for crimping
1. Strip cable to required length.
2. Slide the crimping flange under the screening.
3. Slide the crimp bush over the cable jacket.
4. Crimping operation is carried out by placing the
assembly on the crimping tool and pressing it by
a manual hand press.
5. Push the crimped assembly in the keyway provided
in the metal hood.
In order to ensure easy fitting and high reliability, users are requested to furnish details of the cable so as to work out the exact size of the crimping flange, crimping bush and crimping tool suitable for user's cable. |
